Target Audience: High School Students (Grades 9-12)
Cost: FREE but you must register
This year’s Teen Summit is designed to help high school students to create a personal plan for their own success. We have a team of human resources professionals, life coaches, business owners from many professions, academic counselors and other speakers to help our participants to think critically about how to create a life that they love.
This Summit is for students who:
- Need help finding direction for a career path
- Know what they want to do but don’t know how to get there
- Need a tool-kit for success
- Need a mentor for their career development
- Want to get more information about the kinds of careers they could be in
This Summit is for parents of high school students who:
- Need information on how to help their child
- Want to learn about available opportunities
- Need a support group of parents for navigating the career process
- Want to make a genuine connection with their child
The Summit will include:
- Career expo on both days featuring different careers each day
- Workshops on resume writing; effective communication; effective use of social media; success stories from teens and parents; work/life balance; dress for success and more.
- Inspirational speakers
- Follow-on support after the event
- Breakfast and lunch each day
